Who are we?
The North Coast Performing Arts Association is an incorporated association of singers and instrumentalists from the north coast area of NSW. PAA's members are both amateur and professional musicians who come together to rehearse, attend workshops and present public concerts. Many members are also involved in other local music activities.

What do we do?
Primarily, we aim to perform works which would not otherwise be heard in our region. Our aim is to attract a wide range of musical talent from all sections of the community - in particular to encourage participation by younger musicians and those with more experience. The works include oratorios, extracts form operatic works and stand-alone choral works, instrumental accompaniments for the choir and solo instrumentalists, and solely orchestral works. From time to time we provide workshops under specialist tutors, and sometimes combine with regional groups from elsewhere for combined performances. Performances are usually in Coffs Harbour and/or Bellingen, with the occasional concert further afield.

How can you join PAA?
If you are interested in joining PAA as a singer or instrumentalist, you are warmly invited to complete the Application Form on the Members page and return it to the address provided. A friendly audition of a minute or so's duration may be required for joining members. If you would like to know more about PAA, please Rosemary Lloyd (6655 1341).
