Membership

Membership is invited for singers and instrumentalists.

There are three categories of membership -

Full (Annual) Membership (covers all rehearsals and performances in a year)
Application Fee ($1) and first year’s Subscription ($50): Total $51
Music hire $10      

Half Year Membership (as above, but paid twice a year)
Application Fee ($1) and first half-year’s Subscription ($30): Total $31
Music hire $10      

Student Membership - annual and half-year
  (full-time secondary school or university student)   
$5 membership fee per production plus music hire $10    

Membership fees mainly cover administration costs, Public Liability insurance, rehearsal hall hire, music acquisition and hire. Some of these can be very expensive, but we all want to participate and have an exceptionally good time socialising and making beautiful music. Our aim is to keep fees as low as possible, and with two public performances a year, we hope to turn a small profit to assist us to enjoy a rich and rewarding range of classical works.
