Choir 4.30 sharp in the Auditorium to be given positions both on the stage and on chairs in the body of the hall.
Please give yourself time to park and walk into the Auditorium. Gather at the left side of the orchestra (from Dale's viewpoint). Chairs will be allocated for you there.
Bring a tasty snack (no onion and garlic sausage sandwiches ...) and a bottle of water/thermos etc. (The choir may be free to go well before 9pm.)
Ragazzi call to Auditorium is 4.45 sharp to be given stage and sitting positions. Ragazzi will be free to go probably at about 6.30ish.
Warm-ups and rehearsal for the Ragazzi with the Coro Piccolo and the choir can happen in the Small Hall while the orchestra is rehearsing their pieces sometime after the William Tell Overture. (Very quiet exit and entrances please, so avoid stilettos and tap-shoe equivalents. A small pocket torch might also be handy in case lighting is dim.)
Big Choir: Listen carefully for directions, and have a pencil with you to jot down musical matters. Please don't social chat during organisational proceedings.
Remember also to have an eraser with you on Sunday to clean your music before handing it in. The Waltz is yours to keep but we have to return the Carmina scores to Sydney next Monday, so Sunday is collection day. |
